Collective wage agreements for 2011 – Rise in actual wages of 1.6% and slight increase of 0.3% in minimum wages

Neuchâtel, 28.06.2011 - (FSO) - According to the latest information published by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the social partners who are signatories to the main collective labour agreements (CLA) agreed in 2011 on a nominal increase in actual wages of 1.6%. 0.9% of this increase was allocated collectively and 0.7% individually. Minimum wages were increased by 0.3%. More than 1 million employees were affected by the wage negotiations.
