New abbreviated numbers for information services via telephone connections
Biel-Bienne, 04.01.2001 - The Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) wishes to promote competition in the area of subscriber directory information services (currently 111 und 115x). In January 2001 it will allocate four-digit numbers to future providers of such services for the first time.
