In the Beginning was the Exchange of Information
Biel-Bienne, 28.03.2002 - Universal access to the information society starts with the exchange of information and with consciousness raising. This is the conclusion reached by the participants to the conference "Access of all to the information society : from utopia to reality", organised by the Confederation's interdepartmental Information Society Co-ordination Group (GCSI). The main subjects discussed were the needs of older people, of the disabled and of people with low income, as well as the obstacles they meet.
