Swiss retail trade turnover rose by 1.9% in August 2024
Neuchâtel, 1.10.2024 - Turnover adjusted for sales days and holidays rose in the retail sector by 1.9% in nominal terms in August 2024 compared with the previous year. This was the sharpest increase since June 2024. Seasonally adjusted, nominal turnover rose by 0.2% compared with the previous month. These are provisional findings from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
