Switzerland's population continued to grow in 2022
Neuchâtel, 24.8.2023 - On 31 December 2022, Switzerland's permanent resident population was 8 815 400, i.e. 0.9% more than in 2021. This population growth was slightly higher than in previous years. At the same time, the population is getting increasingly older. These are the final results of the population and households statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
