Roland Peter to Become New Head of Plant Breeding at Agroscope
Bern, 13.8.2018 - Dr. Roland Peter is to become the new Head of the ‘Plant Breeding’ Strategic Research Division. The holder of a degree in Agronomic Engineering from the ETH Zurich, Roland Peter currently works at KWS SAAT SE in Einbeck, Germany. He brings in-depth knowledge and many years’ experience in plant breeding and genetic resources with him to Agroscope. On 1 February 2019 he will succeed Michael Winzeler, who is retiring at the end of November 2018.
