International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission – election of the 15 members
Bern, 12.12.2011 - The 15 members of the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission (IHFFC) were elected at a diplomatic meeting on Friday 9 December 2011 in Bern. The new Commission includes a Swiss national. The IHFFC is a permanent body available to act at the request of a State party involved in a conflict to investigate facts that may constitute war crimes or other violations of international humanitarian law.
